International Charity House

Lead where every child gets a fair shot.

We recruit Youth Leadership Fellows who coach students, strengthen families, and build the homes—literal and figurative—where opportunity takes root.

Our manifesto

Classroom leadership is community leadership.

International Charity House exists so young people are never defined by zip code alone. Our Fellows step into mentoring circles, after-school academies, and family coaching rooms with one charge: raise the ceiling on what a child believes is possible.

How we lead

Five commitments that guide every Fellow.

Borrowed from the best of fellowship culture—adapted for homes, classrooms, and neighborhoods we serve.

  1. Students first, always Design every session around the learner in front of you—not the curriculum binder behind you.
  2. Families are co-educators Invite caregivers into goals, progress, and celebrations. Stability at home multiplies learning at school.
  3. Equity is a daily practice Name barriers honestly. Redirect resources toward the young people furthest from opportunity.
  4. Teach with evidence and heart Pair rigorous skill-building with the dignity of being seen, heard, and believed in.
  5. Build what lasts Leave systems stronger than you found them—tutoring cohorts, peer mentors, and housing pathways that outlive any single Fellow.

Flagship programs

Three pathways. One mission.

From Fellow training to youth academies to housing-adjacent family support—each program advances educational equity where it matters most.
