Programs
Our Teach-for-impact model recruits leaders, multiplies learning time for students, and steadies the homes where homework—and hope—happen.
Flagship
A 12-month educational equity fellowship for adults ready to mentor, teach in after-school settings, and partner with families.
Submit the teaching fellow application with your story, availability, and commitment to educational equity.
Meet program staff for a values and skills conversation—classroom presence matters as much as résumé lines.
Complete intensive onboarding: literacy labs, STEM facilitation, trauma-informed mentoring, and family engagement.
Place into academy sites and mentoring circles with ongoing coaching from International Charity House.
Student programs
Weekday and weekend learning blocks focused on literacy, numeracy, STEM exploration, and college/career readiness. Fellows and volunteer educators lead small groups so no student is invisible in the back row.
Academies prioritize students furthest from opportunity—those navigating housing instability, language transitions, or interrupted schooling—without ever reducing a child to a deficit label.
Family supports
Connecting Hearts, Building Homes is more than a motto. Home & Heart workshops help caregivers navigate school systems, access community resources, and build routines that protect learning time.
We do not replace licensed social services. We walk alongside families—referring carefully, coaching practically, and celebrating every step toward stability.
